This is one of the films on modern Russia which I recommend to see. Story is simple and touching. Dark sides of the life in the country are shown without unnecessary naturalism. It's great to see strong characters that survive in tough and often unhuman conditions. While Russia has people like small Ivan and other helping him country will live.
